A brand new game mode is coming to League of Legends , in the form of a 2v2v2v2 mode. With a desire to get players quickly into champion vs champion combat , the developers are hoping this new mode will become a fan favorite. This page acts as a comprehensive breakdown of all the details surrounding the new 2v2v2v2 mode coming to League of Legends. In this new mode, four teams of two will pick champions and be paired against another team in several deathmatch-style rounds. Champions will progress in power over the game, gaining items, levels, and special powers called Augments in between the combat rounds. Teams are eliminated after losing enough rounds, allowing you to queue up immediately. There aren't many specifics that are completely locked about the mode, as it is still in the development stage.

The intention of this new game mode is supposed to be a quick death match that players can hop in and out of. This new game mode is intended to hit the live servers sometime in Summer , so it should be coming out relatively soon.
