Hey so i own a ford mustang v6, i was thinking of buying some 4. That much money on a 16 year old vehicle for what might be so little extra accelaration that you will only use once in a while does not make much sense. You have several threads about this Mustang just start saving money and up grade to later model Mustang GT. Its my daily driver and i do like to punch it relatively frequently as i drive to work everyday with my friend who has a bimmer and we like to play a little, and even just for a little more entertainment on the daily. Besides would be do-able, not cheap, but do-able and as much as i would love a Mustang GT its hard finding any for any less than 7k.

Forddenial 23 Replies. The smallest change was going from 3. If you are going to penny pinch on the gas then get 3. This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. I wish my 99 Cobra would have 4. Probably not really worth it. The real way to really test it out would to find someone local with both gears and test it out. Our cars come with a speed limiter of mph. Suspension work out back will help a lot too with hooking up and acceleration. I have changed gear ratios in at least 4 different vehicles and was not disappointed in the results.

The ratio in 4th is so the drive shaft spins at the same speed as the engine. Sound good in the beginning but got old quick. Now all I need to do is wait till next month when I got the bucks to do it, hehe. It could even increase it. I did the testing at the track, so traction was good and the timing was verifiable G-meter vs timeslip They have like a first gear with 4. They had those tachs pinned at 8 or 9 grand, but you get my point. Modular motors like rpms. How do you think those Evos and STis run good times with no torque? JavaScript is disabled.
