It was seen that students who could model fraction types simple, improper, whole number of fraction could not determine the fraction of a multiplicity, but they could show the fraction of the multiplicity on at model. Students modelling types of fractions proper, improper, mixed are not able to define a fraction of multiplicity whereas they seem to determine the fraction on a model. Highlights: It has been determined that students who can model ordering fractions with equal denominators cannot model ordering unit fractions, addition and subtraction, and problems that require these operations.
