By Lemoncurry. EU servers don't really have many players outside of EU timezone playing like the NA servers do so naturally this isn't something widely used in EU. It gets a little fuzzy with daylight savings time changes.
I was able to get the guide data fixed for our TiVos by going through their website help system, but I couldn't see how to get the same kind of remedy from Gracenote. Is there any way to change a single channel's time offset manually? You can use Manage Lineup under Sources on the web UI to remap that channel to the west coast station. I know this is true if you are using TVE, and I haven't checked in a bit, but I believe for satellite providers, too. Are you using TVE, or are you using a cable feed?

I just went to the Hallmark website, and it says "The Perfect Bride" will be airing at 7 pm. In practice, 6pm est to pst, I doubt it ever happened that way. So it appears that this was someone's attempt to define coverage periods, with the hope that there would be people available to help.

They could well agree with you about the hours; the might have had something narrower in mind. Most people in the world don't deal with timezones unless in jobs that require to know them. Also note how five region not evenly spread throughout the globe divide up the clock evenly. This thread is very helpful.
