7hz zero frequency response

This year I have been seeing a lot of output from the 7HZ brand, 7hz zero frequency response, with new products coming out at a pretty rapid pace. It has only been a few weeks since I covered their last IEM, the Salnotes Diokoand they already have another model for me to listen to.

Pros: Tuning, Value, Tonality and Timbre. Disclaimer: This IEM was bought at full price and this review is written of my own accord and all thoughts here are my own. The 7Hz Zero is available for purchase here should you find yourself interested in a pair, or feel free to use your own links. To be completely honest, I felt nothing for these when I first saw pictures of them on release. Tacky, toy-ish-looking earphones that looked like they were put together with scrap materials. I thought there was no way they would be good, and it took some convincing from the community and friends to try one. Just a minimal, functional cable, and a few tips.

Antdroid October 20, I had received a set of boxes over the Summer, but due to various things going on in my life, I hadn't had a chance to open all the items sent to me by manufacturers and was trying to catch up on my review backlog. During a conversation with some audio friends on Discord, I was told that I should really check out the Zero. At first, I was thinking, "didn't I just review the Zero? I ended up digging through and found the Salnotes Zero from 7Hz and opened it up, not knowing what it cost or much about it, other than people saying this was a good IEM. And so I unpackaged it, saw the aluminum front-faceplates with a quirky "tree-like" design of a shell, and attached the included angled two-pin cables and quickly plugged it into my Cayin RU-6 R-2R USB-C dongle and away I went with music listening. The Zero is well-tuned. It has great balance from the low bass through to the treble region. I quite enjoy its tuning as it matches quite well with my preferences, and a plot of the frequency response agrees with my initial impressions. Zero is has a decent imaging and qualities to it that I did not expect for this asking price. Seriously, Chi-Fi has come a long way, and to get me something that sounds like this at this price, is pretty incredible.

Hi Sir As per the previous post, the Aria SE is slightly better in technicalities than the 7Hz Zero, but it is not 4x better as what the price differential would suggest.

The build is good, they come with a detachable cable unlike some competitors , and they boast a unique neutral-bright tuning. Technicalities are okay for the price, and the midrange is quite balanced, with fast and tight bass and good clarity on display. They are not the best option for treble-sensitive folk or bassheads, and fit may be an issue for some. Soundstage is disappointing, and those who yearn for a thicker note weight with an analogue signature may also need to look elsewhere.

My opinions are my own. Thank you for your correct reviews. This was a good read. Texturing is decent, and the Zero handles complex and rapid bass movements with aplomb. The build is good, they come with a detachable cable unlike some competitors , and they boast a unique neutral-bright tuning. Last edited: Aug 15, Conclusion 7Hz has once again pulled off another excellent release, and in all its gaudiness in design, the Zero pulls its weight in its tuning and musical presentation. However, the Zero should be lauded for how well it organizes everything going into it. So except for the low frequency, er2se will be better than aria se? Last edited: Jan 31, Is the 7Hz Salnotes Zero hype justified? Gonna buy them for all my family, including grandma. This helps bring out the instruments and vocals significantly, granting more drive to the performance for higher engagement with their timbre. A small note: this is my first experiment with shorter reviews. Search titles only. Compare the ranking of various headphones, earbuds and in-ear monitors using our tools. Though some fancy upper mid range per my taste. Considering most budget CHI-FI try to up the gamesmanship and hopefully trample the competition by quoting beryllium , planar or other exotic materials or designs, it is quite a breath of fresh air that the Zero do not resort to claiming uranium or pixie dust drivers in their marketing! Zero is has a decent imaging and qualities to it that I did not expect for this asking price. Filed Under: 7hz. Not terrible postman panther Votes: 8 3.
