National Highways is advising drivers to plan their journeys ahead of work resuming next week under closures of the A30 in A30 closed. The new year programme of work follows pre-Christmas closures, which saw the partial opening of the new, temporary surfaced Chiverton flyover and the opening of the north-south B link across the Chybucca junction.

To allow us to carry out work on the Chiverton flyover and other infrastructure along the route, the following closures will be in place: Overnight closures - Monday 4 March to Friday 8 March - A30 Boxheater to Scorrier, 8pm to 6am Weekend closure - Friday 8 March to Monday 11 March - A30 Boxheater to Scorrier, 8pm Friday evening to 6am Monday morning. Local access north and south at the new Chiverton interchange and via the B at Chybucca will be maintained throughout these closures. The A30 is blocked by a crash near Launceston this evening February Motorists have also been warned of ice on the route. According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the crash took place near Bodmin Moor Services. It was first reported at 6.
