Strategically located opposite the Ximending Shopping District, you get the best of both worlds - to revel in the hustle and bustle of the area in the day and evening; and enjoy the serenity in the night. Exit 4 with elevator and Exit 5 of Ximen station brings you to the hote Exit 4 with elevator and Exit 5 of Ximen station brings you to the hotel on the street level. Room is modern and stylish. However, design flaws such as the tap near the basin was placed a little too far off which results in water splashing out and grip-lacking wardrobe handle can be forgiven. Currently, only 2 out of the 3 service lifts are operational which results in longer waiting time during certain periods of the day. Next to the reception area on Level 5 is a space for a cup of Oolong tea or coffee which you can get at the pantry. Bagels Cafe takeaway breakfast provided by the hotel. The hotel also has a computer area with iMacs to surf the Internet with the credentials provided on the room access card. All in all, a superb hotel strategically located and value for money at current price level. This is a very posh looking hotel. The rooms does not have windows, but its done up nicely and you don't need a window. Wifi was strong. The lightings were well done. The toilet was separated into shower area, wash basin area and the toilet area with the toilet bowl.

Air-conditioning was strong, accommodation ximending, free in-room wifi was speedy and room service requests were acceded to promptly. Ximending is also walking distance from the Hostel.

Location is good, around 10 minutes walk to the center of XiMenDing, hotel is equipped with vending machine, easy for me to do my laundry before heading back to Malaysia. Great interior design with good choice of breakfast, the only thing which could be improved would be the check-in hours, it has to be after 3p. Other that that, i would highly recommend this hotel and i might stay again in this hotel for my next trip.

We arrived at 9am and were told that check in time is still at 1PM but the front desk made us sit and wait and 3 minutes later, we were already being led to our room. Based on 2 reviews. Breakfast was adequate, basic Taiwanese food congee, some vegetables, dried shredded meat and some bread and jams. The staff were very friendly and they made sure to clean the rooms daily and gave new toiletries. Note: the owner is very helpful and informative. Internet is very fast and accessible anywhere in the hotel. We also had free in-room wifi which was a plus. If you're looking to avoid the heat, try visiting in the spring or fall when the temperatures are a bit cooler. Overall - I will stay here again when I'm back in Taipei!

Even the power sockets came in the adapter form you don't need an adapter to use it so I am very impressed. The hotels that I've stayed before previosly was not satisfying at all.
