We are coming away from the Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday with a new international champion, a new No. Dynamite opened with Aew bleacher report Schiavone interviewing Swerve Strickland about coming up short at Revolution. The Valentine's Day edition had plenty of action. Here is the card advertised ahead of Wednesday's show. Dynamite opened with Jon Moxley making his way through the crowd as "Wild Thing" played. His opponent for the evening was Dax Harwood, who also came out solo to keep things fair. Both men fancy themselves as strikers, and they put those skills on full display.

We're still in the post-Revolution week, but AEW has already started moving forward with some new and existing feuds. Rampage opened with Cassidy and Beretta making their entrance for the opening bout, but Sabian and Butcher were already at ringside. Beretta made the mistake of trying to trade strikes with The Butcher early on, so he switched gears and tried to use his speed to avoid the big man. OC and Sabian had a more evenly matched exchange, but Sabian had a clear power advantage. He focused all of his offense on Cassidy's injured back, which was heavily taped due to the injuries he's been accumulating. This was a pretty standard AEW tag match. It had good energy, a couple of fun spots, a bit too much of all four men in the ring with no repercussions, and a predictable outcome. Beretta and Cassidy got the win and celebrated with Chuck Taylor after it was over with a group hug. Robyn had to go solo without her twin sister Charlett this week but got a big opportunity when she faced Hart for the TBS Championship. This was a short match designed to give Hart a pretty decisive victory. It wasn't quite a squash, but it wasn't exactly competitive. Two high-flyers who were part of a great trios match on Rampage a couple of months ago met for a singles bout when Andretti took on Penta.

This was as high-energy and frenetic as you would expect. The champion sold the aew bleacher report injury consistently throughout, even failing to lift Strong into the Beach Break without the assistance of the ropes. Kingston retained the Continental Crown Championship, overcoming an injured right hand, damaged during a missed chop that struck the ring post, and an extremely focused Danielson to earn another quality victory.

The Icon is wrapping up a legendary career at Sunday's pay-per-view, so the company made sure to tout his last episode. He said he would not be able to compete at Revolution, which led to Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana coming out. Swerve said he respects everything Page has done in AEW, but now is his time to be the champion, which brought out Samoa Joe. As Swerve yelled at Joe, Page attacked him with a crutch and revealed he was not injured at all. The ruse was done well, but there were some signs it wasn't real.

Did the Hall of Famer enjoy one last success under the bright lights, retiring a champion, or did the EVPs acquire even more power by taking the titles that have eluded them since ? Find out the answer to that and more with this recap of Sunday's pay-per-view broadcast, live from the historic Greensboro Coliseum, home to some of the most unforgettable moments in professional wrestling history. A messy match benefited from a hot crowd, but not enough to elevate its overall quality. There was plenty of action, sometimes disjointed, that concluded with "Switchblade" leveling Mack with Blade Runner for the win. When you take into account White wasting away at this spot on the card, though, it only makes the meaninglessness of the match stand out. How is a guy who arrived in the company with so much momentum on his side, and challenged for the world title last fall, in such a spot? A post-match promo teased something of substance potentially coming at the Big Business episode of Dynamite on March 13 in Boston. For his sake, hopefully, it is something with long-term substance because this isn't it.

Page was convincing on an emotional level, but some fans noted online that a doctor would have told him to use his crutch on the other side.

The more matches Hook has, the more he sells for his opponents. Jericho and Magnus landed stereo Lionsaults on Archer in a cool spot. Joe came to the ring and talked some trash before Swerve challenged him to put the title on the line again right then and there. The Rated-R Superstar could sense the crowd getting behind Garcia and decided to play up his heel tendencies a bit, especially during the picture-in-picture segment. A nice bit of storytelling based on the established narrative of hatred between the challengers. This was Hart's first match back from what, if the K-Tape was any indicator, was a shoulder injury that had kept her sidelined. Skye Blue and Kris Statlander wasted no time getting to work when the bell rang. Both competitors looked good in this bout, but some of the shenanigans at ringside took it down a notch. Andretti was smart not to make the water-chugging thing a big part of his character. The kid Isiah Kassidy interacted with at ringside looked like he was so happy to be on camera. Their previous encounter was more exciting, but this one told a better story because the Bucks were heels this time.

.

Result: Orange Cassidy defeated Matt Taven. The Blade was at ringside but Penelope Ford was nowhere to be seen. You could hear Justin Roberts announce when five minutes remained, and again when it was down to two minutes. Now with a championship opportunity in his possession, it will be interesting to see if Adam Cole does as he suggested he would in his inaugural promo as the leader of Undisputed Kingdom and makes the big man hand it over to him. This was predictable but helped continue the heel turn for Nick and Matt. Excalibur tied Garcia's focus on injuring the ankle of Cage to his time in the Jericho Appreciation Society with Jake Hager, himself known for his ankle lock. Takeshita delivered a brainbuster that folded Ospreay in half backward on the top rope and left him with a nasty contusion on his lower back. This was Hart's first match back from what, if the K-Tape was any indicator, was a shoulder injury that had kept her sidelined. This was a short match designed to give Hart a pretty decisive victory. The bout was good but the finish was the best part.
