Tubes needed for all equipment: Maximum number of tubes possible to acquire as anything but an Imperial guard: 5, one of which will almost certainly be auto-spent on the smelter, or taken away if you fail to get it working. I think it's annoying, that there are so few tubes in the game. I also think that it's almost ridiculous that the glove requires THREE tubes, when the same amount is needed for a power armor, but only one is needed for a smelter, or for a hangar door or a powered gun. If the Glove also only needed a single tube, there'd almost be enough to go around for a few things, with still having to make a sacrifice and I gather that this is the intention.
