What Amsterdam Bodypaint Art promotes is freedom of expression without limits. This is particularly meaningful for all artists and models collaborating on the creation of bodypaint works of art. The event does not require full nudity, so bodypaint models are free to participate with whatever degree of nudity they are comfortable with. For the six-hour event, humans come together in Amsterdam and celebrate the fact that we came into the world unclothed and you don't have to be wearing clothes to be adorning a masterpiece. This year's theme is "Freedom" and therefore the liberating forces of nature will be heavily depicted on the human canvases.

This year's theme is "Inner Beauty", encouraging artists to draw inspiration from their model's energy and character as they create their art. After the painting session, both the artists and models take a ride on double decker buses through the streets of Manhattan to share the artwork and body-positive message with the city.
