After a thrilling encounter with the Hound in the previous level, players get a moment to catch their breath in Levels 4 and 5 before things go wild in Level 6 once again. Roblox Apeirophobia was based on a creepypasta that was making rounds on social media, based on the Backrooms. The place is basically the worst nightmare one could get, with an endless set of rooms and monsters that haunt people. While Roblox Apeirophobia is a small game, it still has a few levels which don't offer a lot of content in terms of gameplay. They still add up to the game's creepy atmosphere and build up the theme, but there are not a lot of things players have to do apart from getting the collectibles. Level 4 is the fifth level of the Backrooms, taking place in another pool-like setting. The level itself is a sewer system. This is the 3rd easiest level in the game as of the Pre Alpha v. For the older version of this level, see Level 4 Old. Level 4 is a large poolrooms map, with a more linear direction at the start. All of the balconies are accessible; the hole in the wall can be reached by simply ascending the staircase in the next room, and the glass window overlook can be reached through the level's pipe maze. The second room is another mini pool with an exit to the next room and a staircase leading to the aforementioned overlook of room one. The third room is a long, olympic-size pool with various benches at regular intervals around it. At the opposite end of it is a different staircase that leads to the level's glass water chambers, and then the pipe maze. The pipe maze is the section of the level elevated above water by a glass floor. Various colored pipes are scattered around, but they are not helpful in finding the exit.

Level 4 the fifth level starts at the beginning of a room with a hallway, a hole in the wall and multiple swimming pools in the ground. There are no entities in this level, you are completely safe. It is recommended to relax while you are in this level and prepare for what's to come, because things only get harder from here. Level 4 contains white and gray tiled walls, pools of water, and a window giving a generous amount of light. Going further throughout the level will show more of the same things, but in different sizes. Like pools which stretch on for longer. There will be a staircase that brings you back to the start but you are in the hole in the wall of the start. Continuing the path will result in a long room and swimming pool, going further will lead to stairs.
