This mission introduced a new character named April.

The death leads to an uprising from Commonwealth's lower social class who aren't happy with the community's social divide. I'm not certain the show will go this route, unless the death of a beloved "TWD" character inspires a revolt within the community. On the show's final season, the approach to the Commonwealth's seedy underbelly has been more expansive. It's been hinted that a number of people are upset with the way the Commonwealth is run. It's also been teased that those who step out of line are handled in some mysterious way. Tyler Davis, who pulled a knife on Max, was removed from a hospital room and hasn't been seen since.

Once a normal citizen of the Commonwealth , April was in debt but was approached by Sebastian , telling her he could get her out of it. However, April seems to be much less experienced than the others when dealing with walkers. While walking through a herd, a walker gets stuck to her armor which prompts her to stab it. The rest of the walkers surround her and she ends up being killed, much to the sadness of the others. Ultimately after Sebastian is exposed for his crimes, tons of people begin to protest for him to be punished for what he did to those like April. Nothing is known about April's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that it's possible she had one or two children. At some point during the outbreak, April joined a community in Ohio, where she lived with her parents and two children. April's name appears on a list of names sent to Connie and Kelly and is the fourth from the end.

This was the beginning of the final installment of the series last season. It was an action-packed episode that ended on a fantastic cliffhanger. One storyline that left some viewers confused was that of the parents played by Preston James Hiller and Korbi Dean of a girl named April Wynn Everett. His mother had cut off Sebastian, and his funds were running low. He knew of a location with cash in a safe, but it was overrun by walkers.
