The main basis for the Archieverse , the series featured a mixture of characters, settings and storylines from the Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM cartoon show, the Sonic the Hedgehog video games by SEGA, and various other incarnations of Sonic. It also included many elements unique to the comic universe. The main focus of the comic's storyline was the title character, world-famous hero Sonic the Hedgehog.
