There are a number of places to explore on the Island from snowy peaks, to lava caves, all with their own unique challenges. With large amounts of loot and Artifacts within, here are all cave locations on the Island in Ark: Survival Ascended. These are found in 10 caves throughout the various regions , which each cave harboring one Artifact. The entrances are slightly different than in Ark: Survival Evolved , having shifted a small amount. All 12 resource cave entrances are found underwater. I had a hard time with some of these. This island has no official name, but is often referred to as South Haven , Southern Island or formerly known as Herbivore Island. This island is often colonized by people for its relative absence of aggressive creatures. The island's small space and skittish herbivores make for easy hunting. There are also a good number of metal -rich rocks on the island's single hill. Its bay is deep and great for setting up a port or an aquatic creature pen. The land right on the bay is flat and great for base-building, but take care not too build too close to the cliffs, or you'll lose your supply of metal. ARK: Survival Evolved.

Damien's Atoll is the Spawn Entry name and its name on the official cloth map, but the name doesn't show during gameplay. Like the popular name Herbivore Island suggests, its relatively safe since carnivores do not spawn there. However, large herbivores like the Brontosaurus could become aggro and harm survivors.
