The Mosasaurus Suspirita is a massive ark mosasaur underwater creature with a carnivorous diet which was first seen around the late Cretaceous period. This creature is very large in size and comparable to the Giganotosaurus but in the ocean and is feared by many survivors due to its deadly nature, ark mosasaur.

Much like its little brother, the Mosasaur , the Alpha Mosasaur roams the depths of the ocean waiting for unwary survivors to come along. Its behavior is largely unchanged; it will swim randomly in a general area until it finds a player or tamed dinosaur in range and below a certain depth, whereupon it will pursue and attack the intruder. However, the Alpha Mosasaur is somewhat more persistent in its chase and may briefly pursue the player into much shallower waters than its smaller brother. The Alpha Mosasaur is a much larger version of the already-imposing Mosasaur. Like other Alpha Creatures , it sports a distinctive fiery red fog that can be seen from some distance, even underwater and without a SCUBA mask. Growing up to 50 feet long, Mosasaurus is larger than almost every other aquatic creature I've encountered thus far. Mosasaurus is a deep-sea marine lizard which spends all of its time far beneath the water's surface. It is without a doubt one of the most fearsome creatures of the Island, and can certainly be considered among the ocean's apex predators. Mosasaur has proven to be an excellent tame for the most advanced tribes. Due to its sheer size and power, you will often find tribes with bases and defenses built upon a Mosasaur's large "platform" saddle. Having one with you as an escort is probably one of the best oceanic defenses available! The Mosasaurus is a very powerful aquatic creature that is found deep in the ocean and can be quite far from the shore. It often resides towards the edge of the map boundary, and can be surprisingly elusive. It behaves similar to the Plesiosaur.
