I also plan on getting a rex soon, but have yet to find one I want. I don't know if they would despawn, but even then, I could always just round up more. The whole reason you would tame them would be so you could breed, and maybe ride for the lols. I purposely built far away from them, so I wouldn't break their spawns. Now, enough going on a tangent, I would like to know from people who are alot better, and more experienced, if they are worth the resources for veggie cakes, on Ragnarok, or should I just use the argy to carry them to my house and keep a sort of wild flock?

Ovis are pretty much the variant of sheep that can be wandering around in plain sight, roaming around until something decides to turn them into a snack. Ovis will basically do nothing when approached by survivors and when attacked they will simply run away and later on forget they were even attacked. Players usually keep Ovis around for a meat source as their mutton is not only delicious but it is also great for taming carnivores and to add to this, survivors collect their wool for crafting. Ovis are probably one of the closest creatures that have a resemblance to their species, being sheep and pretty much the same traits.
