I came with friends a few weeks ago and was inspired. There were lovely walks to wend one's way around and a profusion of very pretty late-blooming spring flowers growing gorgeously and in abundance. A casual day out walking paths and looking at various plants and fauna, although nothing to really rave about. Had ticket to first session on the first Saturday. Caught train to Auburn station and travelled on first free shuttle bus to the garde Ruined by commercialism indeed! A money making business. Rude marshalling guys who would not allow us to take photos. Loudly told us off and said keep moving. Why else do people pay to go to a cherry In the latter half of August, we have a cherry blossom festival. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is a free shuttle bus from the station, so it is easy to get there.
