I'd have no qualms ordering B-stock from somewhere with a returns policy as generous as Thomann's. I recently bought a b-stock Harley Benton bass and I think the reason it was returned was a bent tuner,can't find anything else wrong. Could have returned it no problem, as others have said the warranty and customer service are great with Thomann.
