Nudity in Baldur's Gate 3 has attracted its fair share of attention, and it looks like that particular facet of the game has just been tuned up one more degree. Although most of the Baldur's Gate 3 experience is likely to be spent clothed in the average campaign, the game has its bases covered when it comes to disrobing. From unique undergarment options to the somewhat amusing existence of an extensive genitalia lineup, Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios has ensured that the game's emphasis on choice doesn't end when nighttime falls. Under the same prioritization of choice, anyone ill at ease with going down this path in Baldur's Gate 3 is also capable of avoiding it entirely. Potential romances with party members or dalliances with other characters can be ignored entirely, as none are necessary to enjoy the bulk of the game's narrative elements. Nudity also operates on a toggle system, allowing it to be disabled entirely for a potentially more comfortable experience. This latter option, however, is what necessitated the newest tweaks to adjust the way that nudity works in Baldur's Gate 3 as a whole.

I think I'd like to play Baldur's Gate 3, but learning that it has some explicit nudity has put me off a bit; I'd be playing it on a shared computer in my home's living area. I understand that one can turn the nudity and explicit content off. How well does that work? Does it have much impact on other aspects of the game? This feels like such a silly question to ask, but my google-fu is getting me only pseudo-shocked Twitch streamers and some transphobia on Reddit. Best answer: As far as I've experienced, the nudity in the game is contained to optional sex scenes and the portion of character creation where you're configuring your character's bodily characteristics. I doubt the game experience would have changed much with the censor settings on. That said, if you're worried about not-family-safe content, the game is fully voiced and there's a whole lot of talk about murder and other dark themes on the violence side of the spectrum, so headphones might be a good idea.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a massive RPG overflowing with stuff to do. Act 3 finally brings your party to the titular city of Baldur's Gate. This is one of the largest areas to explore and can be overwhelming. You will cement alliances with your companions and various factions in this act. You'll need all the help you can get in the upcoming final battle. You also gain access to one of the best armor sets in the game, called the Helldusk Armor. This heavy armor set is even better than the Flawed Helldusk armor that you could have made earlier on. The Helldusk Gloves are easy to miss, and you only have one opportunity to acquire them.
