Bared Footwear is an Australian sustainable shoe company kicking unsustainable, unethical, unsupportive and ugly shoes to the curb. It comes as no surprise that this epic Aussie business sees sustainability in business as the only way forward. The Bared Footwear team prioritises the use of natural or recycled materials to make their sustainable shoes, including sugarcane for the footbed , recycled plastic bottles for the heel , FSC recycled paper for the insole board , recycled satin, natural rubber and vegetable tanned leather. The team at Bared Footwear have put measures in place to reduce the amount of waste they produce as a company, as well as the waste that is made by their customers. Trash into treasure! It is incredibly important to us to use the most sustainable materials we can for our shoes such as natural rubbers, sugarcane footbeds and Gold Rated leather. It is a long road ahead but we are dedicated to becoming a fully circular and zero-waste business.

Comfort is our thing, and it all starts here. Fitted in all our shoes, our cloud-like footbed provides all-day foot support and cushioned comfort. All shoes are fitted with hidden depth to accommodate the biomechanical footbed or your orthotic. Extra cushioning beneath the footbed make Bared the most comfortable shoes you own. A firm heel counter gives the shoe structure and supports your rear-foot. To provide long-lasting support, encourage flex in the forefoot and increase the longevity of your shoes. Lush leathers, nubucks, suedes and all-leather linings mean your shoes look good, feel good and allow your feet to breathe. Whether you would describe your feet as perfectly normal or super wide or skinny we should be able to get the right fit for your foot. If you have orthotics, remove our footbed and replace it with your orthotic.
