I've been going to Basho as a regular since but left the province in April I was there the evening of December 30th for dinner, basho restaurant menu. Outside of the chef's amazing specials, the menu has the same awesome dishes since I've been going there

Cubed tofu, light fish broth tempura sauce , scallion, bonito, spicy daikon radish 6pcs. Braised pork belly with pickled karashi mustard green served inside steam bun 1 pc. Deep fried Japanese Potato Croquettes, bed with cabbage, topped with spicy mayo, unagi sauce and scallions. Lightly fried Japan green peppers. Served with spicy garlic sauce. Lightly fried shrimp and assorted vegetables served with tempura sauce.

Tuna Tartar. Seafood and Vegetable Tempura. Vegetable Tempura. Salmon Tartar. Seasonal Pan seared Seasonal White Fish. Bombay sapphire gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and club soda. Iceberg vodka or Bombay Sapphire gin with martini extra dry and a twist. Muddled orange Iceberg vodka, Triple sec and a burnt orange twist. Iceberg vodka, Soho lychee liqueur, white cranberry juice and fresh lemon juice. Stoli vanilla vodka, Mcguiness melon liqueur pineapple juice, lemon and lime juice. Sake, Bombay sapphire gin, grapefruit juice, white cranberry, lemon juice and muddled orange. Iceberg vodka, lychee liqueur, triple sec, cranberry and lemon juice. Stoli vanilla vodka, Mcguiness melon liqueur, apple juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Bombay sapphire gin, Smirnoff Green apple vodka and fresh lemon juice.

Is this an Asian restaurant? Basho Unclaimed. I also had the Nobu Style Sashimi, highly recommended. Spent over Salmon Tartar. The fine dining expensive food does not match the decor and atmosphere. Visited this restaurant in July for a 70th birthday celebration and despite having a good meal there last year, this one was a huge disappointment and we will NEVER come back again.
