We have been going to this restaurant for a while now and never have we been disappointed in every of the different meals we have had. The food is always fresh and the variety always pleasing our tastes according the specialty of the month. We highly recommend to taste the meals at La table des Gourmets!! The food in New Caledonia is a little bit retro, reminiscent of 80's dinner parties and very French. French restaurants. I loved their vegetable sides. Burnt nacho chips, salad not very fresh, falling apart and burnt quesidillas. Sat outside it was nice but a vey warm day, would recommend going at night. We agreed to this huge price for breakfast as it included pool use. Not acceptable for a place with access to fresh seafood. When we got to the pool we were accosted extremely rudely by a man who said no we are not allowed to use the pool. First Last. Finally a decent curry in new caledonia!! Several vegetarian and vegan options.

A great cafe right on Place des Cocotiers that is perfect for a late breakfast, lunch or coffee break. Sit back and watch the world pass by with whatever…. The atmosphere is warm and uncluttered in this old colonial building where fabulous fine dining makes it very popular.

The presentation and the freshness of the food is spectacular. I was surprised cause one of the courses had lamb and I don't like it, but was so well prepared that I even like it. Seagulls and small white fish dancing around, even rare jumping ones. Cappuccino was delicious with loads of cream on it. Overall, good experience. We enjoyed our meal last night very much and didn't think it had any msg. The food is authentic, staff accomodating happily made changes to meet my vegan requirements , and prices quite reasonably competitive compared to the rest of the restaurants on the shoreline.
