Better Built Barns was established by the Brown family in out of a home garage in Dallas, Oregon. They previously owned a dairy farm, but hard times forced them to shut down the family farm. The Browns had just enough money to move to Oregon and build the first shed to display at a local home show. After a little while, the family moved the business into a storage space and decided that they should try to build a reputable name through marketing.
