Mandar Chandwadkar born 27 July is an Indian actor who works in Hindi television. Chandwadkar was born in Marathi family in Mumbaibhide taarak mehta, Maharashtra and attended R. Bhatt High School in ParelMumbai. He is married to Snehal Chandwadkar, with whom he has a son named Parth.

The actor, who switched his career from an engineer to an actor and shifted his base to India from Dubai says that he is happy that the risk has paid off really well. Not many are aware that the actor, who has been entertaining fans for the last 12 years was a mechanical engineer by profession. In a throwback interview, Mandar exclusively shared with ETimes TV about the same and also stated that he had quit his job to pursue the passion of acting.
