A Map of the Hidden Chest Locations. There are 19 maps that can be found in the single-player game and three maps that can be acquired through Kenway's Fleet. These maps will lead you to secret Buried Chests that will often have riches and Plans that you can use to unlock the elite upgrades to your ship weapons. Keep in mind that you must have the map for a treasure first before you can go dig up the chest. The maps can be found by looking at your in-game map. The chart below tells you where to go to find the map, then exactly where the Hidden Chest is, and, finally, what Plan is in each chest.

Mayan Stelaes are large sculptures found throughout various islands in the game. When a Mayan Stelae is revealed on the map, look for the sculpture and then climb on top of it and Interact with it to start a small puzzle. Activate Eagle Vision and then simply align the shapes with the landscape to reveal the location of a Mayan Stone. From there, jump down and dig out the Mayan Stone. This one is acquired during the mission This Old Cove during the main campaign. Right off of the beach where you dock the Jackdaw. There's a second stela on this island. You'll find it at the northeastern edge of the isle.

Animus fragments are collectibles found on nearly every island and location in the game. There are Fragments scattered around. While sailing the seas, you may be given the option to look at a nearby island by pressing up on the D-pad, indicating that there is a collectible located on it. You can then stop the Jackdaw and swim to the island to collect the fragment. You must collect them all to complete Abstergo Challenges and as a reward 'Deceased Crew Cheat' will be unlocked for you. Most fragments are easily collected by running or jumping to them. Some are more difficult to get to, but you can always use the environment to reach them. Look for forked trees, lines, or cliffs nearby.
