This is the ninth main installment for the Call of Duty franchise, as well as being the first Call of Duty game available to an 8th generation console Wii U , and was released on November 13, It is the first game made by Treyarch to be set in the future, and also the first direct sequel produced for the series by the studio. The game is also the first Call of Duty game for Nintendo's Wii U console, and it was available for the Wii U's launch day in North America, Europe, and Australia, whilst it was released on December 20, in Japan, which was 12 days after the console's Japanese launch day, albeit the console received the Japanese dub version simultaneously with the other platforms on the same day. Die Rise is easily one of the more confusing maps available. It combines tight corridors with vertical levels that will have you riding up and down elevators or using the new buildable, the Trample Steam, to get from one place to another. Another new addition is the Sliquifier; a wonder weapon that will shoot goo on the ground and cause a big slippery mess for the zombies caught up and even yourself. The first thing that you will want to do when getting started in Die Rise is to turn on the power that will get the elevators moving so you can travel vertically and get back to the spawn area. Kill a few zombies so that you have points and then enter the elevator in the spawn area. Ride it down and make a right at the end of the hall. Go to the end and then hop over the gap to the next building. Once you land, go through the open door and then make a right to the green double doors. Go through there paying the points and you now be in the power room. Walk directly forward and the power switch will be on the wall.

TranZit functions like any other Zombies maps aside from the size of the map and some of the new utilities. A new feature, buildables , allows the player to pick up parts and construct certain items, which offer useful mechanics to aid the survivors in game. Examples include the Pack-a-Punch Machine ; a new Wonder Weapon, the Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 commonly referred to as the Jet Gun ; a turbine-like handheld power source; an electric trap; an improvised automatic machine gun turret; and a Zombie Shield, the Zombies variant of the multiplayer weapon, the Assault Shield. The player can also add upgrades, such as ladders and plows, to the bus to aid them by preventing zombies from breaching the bus, or allowing access to the bus roof. Two new types of enemies appear, the Denizen and the Avogadro.
