Bladed Rhino Beetles are one of the more useful insects to look out for in Tears of the Kingdom. Not only do they provide Link with an attack up bonus when they're cooked into an elixir , they also allow him to fully level up one of the game's best armor sets: The Barbarian Armor. Unfortunately, Bladed Rhino Beetles are a bit on the rare side, so unless players know where to find them they can be tough to discover organically. That isn't helped by the fact that they prefer to travel alone rather than in packs, which only adds to the tediousness of farming them. Luckily, there are a few tried and true locations that these critters are reliably known to spawn every Blood Moon. Bladed Rhino Beetles seem to spawn all over the place, but the best areas to look are in East Necluda and in the Faron region. Bladed Rhino Beetles are ordinarily found either holding onto trees or dead tree stumps, though they've also been known to occasionally be found hiding in tall grass. They generally like to hang out in heavily wooded areas like forests, and are always found at night when it isn't raining. They also tend to be alone, so Link is unlikely to stumble upon a group of them crowded together as he would with many other critters in TOTK.
