Blood of lathander crest
The Blood of Lathandar is a blood of lathander crest mace that is very well hidden in Baldur's Gate 3. It provides a wide array of benefits and even sheds light that can push back the darkness. See that guide for a complete walkthrough, but in sum:. Before you enter it, you need to acquire the Dawnbringer Crest.
It can be started at the Rosymorn Monastery. The Rosymorn Monastery is accessed from the Mountain Pass. Climb on the cable car and use the wheel to move towards the Monastery. Follow the path east until a cutscene triggers where a group of githyanki warriors shoot down some cultists. Unfortunately, the Rosymorn Monastery Doors are locked and magically enchanted, but there are broken windows that can be climbed through X, Y just west of the doors. Once inside, there are a number of drunk Kobolds who must be dealt with to continue - one of which holds an item that starts this quest. One way to acquire the Blood of Lathander is to acquire the Dawnmaster's Crest.

As such, it requires finding several items and solving a few puzzles to successfully retrieve it, so this walkthrough will guide you through the various steps required to collect your powerful prize. This interaction will add the quest to your journal. Luckily, one has already been collected as an example. First to collect is the Ceremonial Warhammer. Leaving the room through the northwest exit allows you to jump up to the second floor. From here, there are vines leading right up to the roof of the building. Otherwise, kill them, then check their nest after the fight. Next is the Ceremonial Battleaxe, which is similarly guarded by an enemy. Pick the lock, or head southeast through the door and blow up the northern wall to enter the room. From the room with the divine guardian, head south and down the steps, jumping to the next set of stairs to reach the first floor. Then head north and destroy the planks on the western wall, heading through afterwards.

The Blood of Lathander is a mighty relic derived from the lord of light and the sun, Lathander. To find the Blood of Lathander you must first complete a difficult puzzle and go through a complicated process to track it down. Outside the Creche in the Rosymorn Monastery area, you find a conspicuous stained-glass window on the upper floor of the building. It shows four priests of Lathander wielding different objects, with each seemingly corresponding to a plinth in the four corners of the room. A sword is already resting on one, demonstrating how the lights on the plinth will turn blue when the correct item is placed on each one.
Find the Blood of Lathander can be acquired during Act 2. Completing Quests allows players to learn more about the world and characters in Baldur's Gate 3, as well as earning more loot and experience to become more powerful. A hidden pouch will be revealed. I've been all over the monastery and found neither a way into the astral plane nor any Inquisitor. I've been holding off on heading into the lower levels though, as I assume that's where the Githyanki are. And I was hoping to wrap this Blood of Lathander business up, before getting hip-deep in Gith politics.

Turns out, the monastery houses a hidden holy relic: the Blood of Lathander mace. Your first stop on your way to the Blood of Lathlander will likely come before you pick up the quest. Leave it there for now. Exit the stained glass room heading south and smash through the first wooden barricade along the west wall. Climb the knotted roots there to the roof, and then head east to find a pair of giant eagles. You may have met an angry blue jay on your way to the monastery who told you about them.

The Ceremonial Warhammer is on the topmost floor of the Monastery, in the centre of a Giant Eagle's nest. Either pick the lock on the door or climb through the eastern window in the stained-glass window room to gain access to the Guardian of Faith. First, you likely already have the ceremonial mace. Avoid the pulses of the Dawnbreaker and consider disarming it to easily destroy the Energy Source. But on top of being a solid melee option, its Sunbeam evocation spell is brilliant. This leads to another room with a similar trap, and this time it should be disarmed carefully, because it can push your party off the cliff nearby.
