Out of all the FromSoftware games, Bloodborne is likely the one that receives the most fan requests for more content. Bloodborne fans have been very vocal over the years about their desire to see something new from the IP, whether that be a remake, a PC port, or even a full-fledged sequel, and the internet is constantly flooded with rumors suggesting one of these projects is in development. However, as much as Bloodborne deserves more video game content, it would also be a perfect contender to make the jump to the animated medium with a Netflix anime in the same style as Castlevania or Devil May Cry. Despite the consistent calls for new Bloodborne content from fans, FromSoftware's Hidetaka Miyazaki recently quashed some of those rumors by stating that a Bloodborne remake likely wouldn't happen until more powerful hardware exists to justify it. While this news might be disappointing for fans, that hasn't stopped rumors of other projects like a Bloodborne PC port from circulating. It seems like fans hoping for a new way to experience Bloodborne in the near future will need to look outside the gaming sphere, which makes it an ideal IP to be adapted into an anime. Film adaptations of video games have historically been a mixed bag due to the interactive nature of games having a hard time translating to a passive medium like movies or TV series.
