Coming from a Castlevania veteran and someone that hates using guides this really sucked. I checked every inches of every corner in the castle. The Valkyrie armor filled up the other half of the map where the armor was located. In the location where you have to invert to go up to find the armor it's an open sky, so it's natural for you think that it would invert you back. I heard some people powered through the spikes, but as underleved I was it wasn't possible for me.

The chest containing Aegis Plate is located at the top-left of the outdoor section of the right-hand tower in Towers of Twin Dragons , where Miriam previously fought the boss Valac. In order to acquire it, Miriam must have acquired Invert. Moving to the side-on "2D" area to the left of the base of the tower, the player can then trigger Invert to sent Miriam up to the top. The chest is located in a narrow crevice protected by spikes, requiring some careful maneuvering to reach the chest while avoiding damage. Aegis Plate is a prerequisite for the "true" ending path: it is used along with Invert in the first room of Entrance where the statue fell from above in the background when Miriam first entered. Inverting here will lead to a series of narrow horizontal passages with spikes on the floor and ceiling. Two have iron maidens which need to be moved with Craftwork in order to proceed.

Tower of Twin Dragons in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night are the two towers on the far right of the castle. After the fight, pick up the Silver Bromida from the chest at the bottom of the rightmost tower.
