The anticipation for another Mnet reality series is at an all-time high following the phenomenal success of Girls Planet , which later debuted as a K-pop rookie group Kep1er. Every Thursday starting February 2, at 8 p. KST, 6 a. ET, and 11 a. More than 95 contenders, including Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and well-known agency trainees, will be in the Boys Planet starting lineup. Honestly, these judges are just trolling us. He does more rapping than singing, and both are fine. He apparently was a backup dancer for Oneus during their US tour, so he must have some dancing chops. He lists Woodz as someone he looks up to, which is a huge point in his favor. This agency seems to exist only to promote these four trainees. Lee Jeong Hyeon in the white short sleeved jacked did some really excellent rapping, and had fun and varied facial expressions. Takuto comes out, makes big hearts with his arms, and everyone talks about how cute and young he is but how kind of weird he is for making hearts all the time. Park Min Seok in the leather jacket must have been the lead vocal here — he does some pretty good singing, perfectly on key and with good support and a pleasant tune. So fun, so much personality. Then he sang, live, impeccably, while dancing well enough to entertain. God this whole performance gets better every time I watch it. Not great. I love the loud appreciative wooooah from the Space Council you can hear clearly when he flips. I think he did fine, just not special.
