The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size for me and my family. The Breakfast was exceptional, would have preferred to be closer to town but still was great. This 3-star hotel offers room service. The room was so spacious with classy furnishings and a decent kitchenette. Third floor was accessible with no steps from the parking lot. Great access to downtown Nashville. Would definitely stay here again.

The 65, square foot hotel, restaurant, and bar became a gathering place for visitors and local families alike. Over the years, the hotel housed Indy sponsors and country music celebrities. Time and various economic setbacks led to the eventual decline of the inn. Although it survived many hardships and a dedicated staff kept it in operation, it became dated and in need of repairs and renovation. In May of , the Brown County Inn was sold to its current owners and a top to bottom renovation was begun. The exterior was painted and the roof repairs completed. New equipment was purchased for the pool and it was painted.
