The five day festival sees well known authors descend onto Bude as well as events for the community. The five-day festival, which first took place last year, is set to feature a number of events across the next few days and builds on the success of last year's inaugural event. Events taking place for the family take centre place, with tomorrow May 19 set to see events in the community ranging from storytelling for toddlers at The Bandstand at the Castle on the Wharf, a story trail at Bude Library, and a number of talks in addition to live music. Nearly three-quarters of knife crime convictions in Devon and Cornwall were first-time offenders. Police public desk set to open in Okehampton.
