Most farmers buy their quads from can am 2015 same dealer for years too, can am 2015, because they trust him, easily as important as how good his product might be. Unless my memory has slumped with the rest of my personal topography, there was a time when most farm quads weighed well below an arbitrary kg threshold, but manufacturers have stormed that barricade too.

The new algorithms provide for ample straight-line wheelspin, but once you introduce lateral cornering forces into the equation, SCS and TCS kick into action before antics get out of hand. For now, these new algorithms are specific to the F3 and are the main reason why the F3 is easily my favorite Spyder. A lot more. Yep, I said cruiser crowd.

Styling is anything but conservative, and the upscale F3-S version I tested, offers premium fenders with LED lights plus other goodies. Additionally, three accessory packages are available. Torque is a whopping 96 lb-ft at 5, rpm. The sophisticated new fuel injected 1,cc DOHC four-valve per cylinder power plant is built by Rotax, a BRP subsidiary, and is a considerable improvement over the liter-class V-twin in earlier models. Can-Am claims 4. Thanks to a gear-driven counter-balance shaft, the big triple is very smooth. Power comes up quickly yet controllably, with a strong rush in the upper midrange. The fuel injection is glitch free, without any abruptness coming off idle. At 60 mph indicated in sixth gear, engine rpm is only 3, for relaxed cruising. Redline is at 8, revs. Electronic cruise control, which comes on the S models, maintains speed spot on, and allows the rider to rest that right wrist on long highway stretches.

Can-Am recently invited a group of journalists to sample its latest Spyder roadster on a two-day ride through rolling countryside ablaze in fall colors, in the Eastern Township outside of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. Visits to the Bombardier Recreational Products design center and factory filled out the agenda. A new Y-frame chassis features two frame members added to each side to increase torsional rigidity, a trellis-style rear swingarm, standard Fox Podium aluminum-body front shocks, Sachs rear monoshock a remote-reservoir Fox shock is optional , Brembo front brakes, electronic cruise control and more. The styling is quite aggressive; think muscle-cruiser here. Three more accessory packages are offered for either model. This new chassis places the rider farther aft, behind the fuel tank and much lower for feet-forward, arms-forward positioning. The lower frame tubes mount non-folding footpegs with five positioning holes for a whopping 10 inches of adjustment.

The F3 is meant to fill a void in the Spyder line-up, appealing to cruiser riders by way of its relaxed, feet-forward seating position. This should be exciting to many prospective Spyder owners, but it gets better. The new seating position is customizable to body size and personal preference. When a person enters a Spyder dealership, they will be able to sit on an F3 Spyder and experience the different ergonomics prior to purchasing.

This allows for better handlebar input and vehicle control. The older system prevented any sort of hooliganism, but the new one allows some drive-wheel spin before it intervenes.
