I'm going to Texas in a few days I live in the UK I figured for electrical items including my MacBook Pro, I need to sort an adapter out. Can I just use any normal converter for it or do I need to buy a specific attachment for my Power suppy? I'm crap at this stuff as I don't travel abroad much and I don't wanna risk blowing the damn thing up!

I'm looking at travel adapters to buy for my trip to Europe, and many of the adapters say that it only adapts the plug but does not convert the current, so you cannot use an item that only takes v. However, I read that the Iphone cube converts the current so it can take or v. However, my question is how about if I plug my iphone directly into the USB opening of an adapter that is not a converter without using the iphone cube. Would that be okay? Posted on May 13, AM.
