In February I caught-up with Tom Dixon. Not the lighting guy. We talked about how covid has affected things. Of course it hit the sites, the holiday makers and the company hard, but Tom thinks the uptick will make up for it. And lots of people are starting to camp and glamp for the first time. Last year, he says, lots of people had their first taste of the great outdoors almost because they had to, with the pandemic and have booked again in because they got a feel for it. Tom puts a longer-term trend in glamping down to a change in the way people feel.
