If somebody has used carbon fiber to wrap their exhaust can, I would really like to know the process that they used to do it. I like this look and want to wrap my can. I have also seen the 3M carbon fiber wrap that looks cool but, does it have the same heat resistance as the real stuff, or does it just look good, or will it just burn up as the temp gets too hot?

Would I be able to carbon wrap it? Or will it just bubble and go to shit, which wouldn't suprise me, its a carbon can, but I don't know how hot carbon gets as I've only had stainless. Anyone got any ideas for doing this any other way? Worst case I could just get some protective heat tape and make it look like its there to protect the panel, but if there's any better alternatives I'd prefer it. Even real carbon fiber can suffer from the heat of the exhaust so if you ride hard the plastic stuff won't last that long. Is it dented or scratched? Theres like a small chunk out of the carbon.
