The center showcases national and international artists, as well as accomplished faculty members and emerging center for the arts gmu artists. Each year, the Center welcomes hundreds of thousands of community members into its nearly 2,seat Concert Hall. The Center presents an annual season of national and international professional artists through its Great Performance at Mason Series and Family Series —offering the best of classical music, opera, jazz, global music, dance, theater, and more.

The Center for the Arts Concert Hall is a seat venue with continental-style seating. Each year it houses operas, symphony orchestras, theatre productions, dance performances, cultural shows, and more. An assortment of snacks and beverages are available for purchase at our concessions bars in the lobby beginning 1 hour prior to curtain and at intermission. Food is only allowed in the lobby area. Beverages in covered containers, such as a water bottle or using our reusable tumblers, may be taken to your seat. Reusable tumblers are available to purchase at the Center for the Arts Ticket Office. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Center for the Arts Box Office, or by telephone through Tickets.
