I was totally squished with my knee caps jammed against the taxi drivers seat. I had invited three of my friends to join me for dinner at a new restaurant that just opened out by the airport. I had barely eaten all day and was elated when the passenger door burst open so I could stretch my legs and pet my tummy. Most notably Earls and Joey which offer a similar casual fine dining experience for diners. We enjoyed a quick tour of the interior as we were whisked to our booth at the back of the restaurant. Our glasses were filled with sparkling water as we scoped out the space. A chandelier dangling in a bird cage twinkled above. The space has a masculine Brit feel to it: a large portrait of a stallion hangs in the main dining room and what appears to be floating top hats create a playful take on the lamp shade. We started off our meal with a few cocktails before plates started to arrive from the kitchen. During our meal the chef came out to visit the table.
