The movie opens with a shocking event: a young girl named Seo-yeon is kidnapped and murdered. Ten years later, her father, Jung-ho played by Dong-Hyun Kim , is haunted by her memory and unable to move on from the tragedy. He works as a detective and is assigned to a case that bears a striking resemblance to his daughter's murder. As he investigates, he becomes convinced that the killer is someone he knows. Meanwhile, his wife, Mi-hee played by Jin Kyung , is also struggling to cope with the loss.
