Club 4x4

There was club 4x4 discussion on this matter recently. I think it was commenced by Kaleem from the ompany seeking feedback. Never never had an insurance claim for either.

The right setup is crucial for any 4WD, caravan or camper trailer adventure, so why should insurance be any different? Where the 2WD roads stop, so does most roadside assistance, which is why every 4X4 policy comes with off-road recovery cover to get you out of trouble. Our free, no-commitment online quote tool can get you covered in no time! Connor at the Sunshine Coast office provided service and advice of the absolute highest level. He ran through everything in fine detail, leaving no uncertainty whatsoever.

Unless there is a meaningful effort to support their client base on this occasion, I will be going elsewhere. Outdoor activities are inherently dangerous. These guys really know the 4x4 club 4x4 and vehicle specifics.

These guys really know the 4x4 scene and vehicle specifics. Thanks Connor - I'm truly impressed and will be letting others know.

Great peace of mind when I am out enjoying my 4x4 camping with the family. Not only are Club 4x4 extremely hard to deal with. Ps I have done the same with my wife's policy with another insurer and they look like coming to the party. I wouldn't get insurance like that with any other company. I have been with Club 4x4 for two years. It wasn't a scam, but it did prey on people not doing their own due dilligence and just trusting the club. All the major insurers recognised early on that they were missing out on a lot of money by excluding 4WDs, especially since 4WDs featured very low in accident rates and claims less or no damage in minor accidents , so they jumped in with far more competitive offers. Never never had an insurance claim for either. If 4X4s can go there, our cover can too… The right setup is crucial for any 4WD, caravan or camper trailer adventure, so why should insurance be any different? Its the extras and modifications you need to be carefull of but as long as the car is road worthy and legal you have nothing to worry about. Not sure exactly how this would be possible to assess, so maybe their water clauses need to be very carefully checked and questions asked, get it in writing!! But I did get a phone call from the same lady who I spoke to several weeks earlier who again told me the exact same story she told me previously. Heaps of gear?

Most clubs know of established and legal places to go and most will have scheduled events.

The only difference in cover is tha Thanks for this thread! The only benifit that Club 4x4 has over any other insurer is there off road recovery cover but IMO that is negated by there extra excess for water crossing damage and the extra hoops they have made customers jump through befoer payouts. As a side note, I have never heard of 1 person who is happy with club 4x4 at premium time or claim time, I would never even bother ringing them for a quote now. I was promised that a "manager" would ring me once out of a meeting. I have had many modified cars over the years, and I have never had such complete coverage. I wouldn't get insurance like that with any other company. Ian Ranger50 wrote: Hi Guys,. Hi all, not sure if anyone is stil following this thread but just want ti let you know that my premium is due soon with club 4x4. Said he would look into it. Now not going to now. 1. I apologise, but, in my opinion, you commit an error. Let's discuss it. Write to me in PM.
