I am looking online to see how i was supposed to figure this puzzle out and what the point of the outer symbols are but so far all I have gathered is is from my personal experience of them being a trick. If you find this post, and can find somewhere a dev AMA about this and how players where supposed to figure it out or a player that figured it out without brute forcing it. I'd really like to see it. Absolutely nonsense and useless puzzle. Extremely bad habit from the ancient RPG games.
