Cricut no device found

You take out your Cricut machine to make a fabulous t-shirt but all of a sudden, your computer is not finding Cricut. There is no connection. Your Cricut must be connected to your computer because the machine uses computer software to send instructions for cutting. Unfortunately, not all of us are tech gurus and may find it challenging to make the relevant connections between the Cricut and the computer. Of course, the one I do all my design work on for the Cricut is the only computer not able to find it. The only thing that is different is my MacBook is running Sonoma. I have turned on and off bluetooth, plugged and unplugged the cricut and restarted the computer. Is there anything else I can try. Have you tried to reboot the laptop to see if that makes any difference? Also try disconnecting all other external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.
