It's simply a question of attracting those to us that are willing to embrace the grind and endure some pain and suffering whilst they learn. And finally the "recent changes to the start-out point for new players" are likely just a superficial attempt to placate concerns. No one likes it except you I guess. Adapt and overcome son. I agree that upkeep as a system benefits those who play more, but everything about every video game around benefits those who play more, that's quite literally the very nature of every video game out there - The more you play, the stronger you become. As before, you're entitled to your opinion but we disagree, the belief that we're just doing what we do to 'placate' people as you so put indicates you're rather biased yourself, given that you're immediately assuming malicious intent.
