This program prepares students to become professional nurses. All graduates are recommended for certification as a public health nurse in the State of California. Applicants to the nursing major are normally admitted by the time they reach junior standing. Pre-Nursing students must complete the following requirements within four semesters of being admitted into the University. At the end of four semesters, students who have not met the requirements must meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss their degree progress and explore resources for declaring a new major.
