For me the lavatories are not bothersome at all. We preferred the mid three seats on the A because there is so much more room than a window seat. I sat in 18A and the best seat ever in A Seat 11A my daughter had 11D, across the aisle is one of the best business class seat I've had the pleasure of experiencing. I have gotten in here regularly for flights between HK and JFK and the tranqulity in the forward cabin makes a big difference on those 16 hour long flights. My experience of row 30 is very different to your review due to passengers from the left side of Premium Economy persistently stepping around these seats to access the poorly located toilet on the right side of the cabin. Row 30 seems to be the A1 motorway for people in this cabin going to the Restroom. Excellent food , staff and the toilet behind was no problem. Seats are designed with their own shell and slide forward instead of reclining into the seat behind. Row 12 is too close to the lavs, but 12A would be a better bet if Row 11 is taken, as there is a curtain between you and the lav. In fact, 31A is a far better choice even though SeatGuro shows it as "Yellow". Seat 73 C is a standard Economy Class seat.

A bassinet for a passenger traveling with an infant is also located here. You cannot use the USB plug without deploying the tray flat. This is very annoying and makes it impossible to rest properly in these seats. Having read the online seat reviews, I was expecting the worst. Seat 39 G is an Economy seat. Seat 33 K is a Premium Class recliner which offers greater recline than an Economy Class seat and a footrest that may be elevated. The carpets on the floor was already torn up and the 2 bathrooms I used had issues with the sink and the light. Cabin service very professional but do not expect the friendly banter you would get with Air New Zealand or Qantas. Seat 32 F is a Premium Class recliner which offers greater recline than an Economy Class seat and a footrest that may be elevated. Seems all the A seats a much tighter than the seats, which are very comfortable. My only criticism of this seat is that there isn't enough padding - this was particularly evident when the seat was fully reclined. I was so thankful it wasnt a long haul flight. Pros: You won't bother anyone behind you when you go full recline; you don't get the back massage you do in other seats in economy from the person behind you putting things in their seat pocket, you get the benefit of the lower altitude A pressurization and higher cabin humidity; the IFE screens are new and possibly larger than older CX aircraft; you don't need an adapter to plug in your own headphones. No peace afforded on a 12 hour flight.
