Cyttorak also known the Destroyer cyttorak, Lord cyttorak Oblivion, and Master of the Raging Storm, [2] is an immensely powerful extra-dimensional being hailing from the Crimson Cosmos. He was worshiped as a God and a Demon by the primitive humans of Earth, cyttorak. This lasted until he was banished to his home dimension.

Cyttorak is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. A mystical entity, he is the deity that powers Juggernaut through the artifact known as Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. Cyttorak existed as a deity or demon who received worship on Earth until, under unknown circumstances, he was banished from the Earth. He took up residence in a dimension known as the Crimson Cosmos, where time did not pass. Cyttorak has existed since the time of the ancient sorceress Morgan le Fay during the Seventh Century , and even then offered his magic to his worshippers for power, as shown when Morgan used the Crimson Bands to easily bind Dr. Strange and Bolar. Approximately one thousand years ago, a gathering of eight great magical beings took place.

First aspect is a God-looking one which is a source of power to sorcerers and powerful mystical entities like Dr. Second aspect is a Demon - looking one that empowers Juggernaut and which is titled as "His most destructive aspect". This title strongly refers that there are also other aspects of Cyttorak. And what's even more interesting, his most destructive was set free by monks who tried to summon Cyttorak to Earth again and this aspect was later imprisoned in the Crimson Ruby. So there is strong indication that aspects are sentient on there own. During Infinity War, Cyttorak commented that he actually prefers to be in a God-looking aspect. It was shown that after destructive aspect was imprisoned in the Ruby, Cyttorak himself transported the Ruby outside of the temple on occasions in order to find human avatars easier. Cyttorak participated in the Octessence , a wager between eight vastly powerful inter-dimensional beings who decided to find out which was the most powerful by giving a fraction of their power to eight human avatars that would fight in their honor. Each of them placed an item in their temples for someone to find, after the first item was found people would be magically drawn to the remaining seven. The collapse of his temple is assumed to be the reason why the other Exemplars did not emerge after Cain Marko became the Juggernaut.

Probably the destruction of the Temple of Cyttorak and the subsequent incapacitation of the Juggernaut served to throw a cyttorak wrench in the Wager, cyttorak.

Marvel Comics secretly retconned the origin of Juggernaut , using the Black Knight 's battle with the God of Symbiotes to subtly redefine the antihero's demonic patron. He touched the legendary Crystal of Cyttorak, and was forevermore transformed into a human Juggernaut - a force of destruction whose role on Earth was to bring honor to Cyttorak's name. But Cain Marko was not the first Juggernaut. Cyttorak has had countless other avatars across the ages, who were granted his power to act on his behalf on Earth.

However, Marko disobeyed and grabbed the gem, transforming him into the Juggernaut. Xavier, not wanting to see his step-brother jailed for desertion, went after him. In the Fear Itself storyline, Cain Marko becomes Kuurth: Breaker of Stone one of the Heralds of a long-dormant god of fear known as the Serpent upon lifting one of the hammers that fell towards the Raft.
