Daemon and rhaenyra children
While House of the Dragon may be set in a fantasy world with dragons and magic, the Game of Thrones prequel is essentially a soap opera dealing with the squabbles of the Targaryen family as they all attempt to manoeuvre themselves into a position to take the Iron Throne, daemon and rhaenyra children. This was particularly evident in the most recent chapter, episode 7, where Rhaenyra proposed to her uncle Daemon that they should marry in order to strengthen their position and quell any challenges to her succession. By the end of episode 7, the pair tie the knot but fans have been left with questions about their marriage and whether Daemon and Rhaenyra will go on to have any children. In response, Rhaenyra proposes that daemon and rhaenyra children and Daemon should marry to strengthen her position and ensure that no one can challenge her claim to the throne.
As part of her duties as a royal member of the Targaryen family, Rhaenyra had many children in her lifetime. In her younger years, she showed an aversion to the thought of having children, mainly due to the death of her mother during childbirth. But as she grew older, what little joy she felt in life was thanks to the love she felt for her sons. In total, Rhaenyra had six children: her first three -- Jacaerys, Lucerys and Joffrey -- were had legally with Ser Laenor Velaryon, but were explicitly confirmed in House of the Dragon to be biologically Ser Harwin Strong's children. As seen in the Season 1 finale, the deaths of Lucerys and Visenya take a heavy toll on Rhaenyra and begin a war known as the Dance of the Dragons, which ultimately breaks the Targaryen dynasty.
Daemon and rhaenyra children
The first season already showed how much Rhaenya's children play into the conflicts between her and her former friend Alicient Hightower. With casualties already claimed on each side as the war begins, the future of Rhaenyra's family — especially her offspring — in House of the Dragon is threatened. However, tracking Rhaenyra's progeny isn't easy, given that she has multiple husbands and is a Targaryen, who are noted for their proclivity toward inbreeding which Rhaenyra herself isn't exempt from. In George R. Despite being the eldest trueborn child of King Viserys, Rhaenyra was never really in line to become heir to the Iron Throne. Yet with no male heir, Viserys names Rhaenyra as Princess of Dragonstone. As seen in the show so far, Princess Rhaenyra marries twice in her lifetime: first to Ser Laenor Velaryon, and then to her own uncle, Daemon Targaryen. She gives birth to six children: three Velaryon sons though Harwin Strong is the true father , two full-blooded Targaryen sons, and one Targaryen daughter, all of whom are involved in House Targaryen's Blacks versus Greens succession war. Even early on, Jace quickly proves that he is a valuable asset to the war pursuit against his uncle Aegon II. Jace flies as an envoy on his dragon, Vermax, gaining the support of the Vale, the Three Sisters, and the North. When the frontline dwindled, he put forth the ingenious idea of offering ennoblement to any Targaryen bastard that can tame Dragonstone's riderless dragons, historically called the Sowing of the Seeds, resulting in new dragonriders ready to fight for the cause similar to Game of Thrones ' Jon Snow with the dragon Rhaegal. An injured Vermax crashes into a galley, but not before Jace leaps onto another burning one. He eventually dies by crossbow and sinks to the sea. Given that this happens at about the midpoint of the war, it is possible that Jace's death with cap off the second season of the show.
Lucerys is the true definition of a boy gone too soon.
The big time jump in episode 6 felt like the HotD pilot all over again, and now the actors are being swapped out once more. If you want to be totally surprised by House of the Dragon , tread lightly. In the decade time jump between episode 5 and episode 6, Alicent and Rhaenyra were taken over by different actors and it was revealed that they had full families. But now things are even more complicated. Rhaenyra and Daemon are married, Laena Velaryon is dead, and Viserys is…somehow not dead? They should call it Full House of the Dragon , if you ask me.

Daemon and rhaenyra children
Time jumps are critical to how House of the Dragon tells its story about a tumultuous moment in Targaryen history. But episode 8 takes an almost-as-huge six year jump into the future. Jace is currently the heir to the Iron Throne after his mother, and a strong kid despite only being somewhere around 7 years old. Lucerys tries to leave, but Aemond goes after him on a dragon, and Lucerys dies. He is also likely a bastard fathered by Ser Harwin Strong. Viserys is the second-born child of Alicent and Viserys. Aegon is the first-born child of Rhaenyra and Daemon. Aegon is one of the children who was not new to this episode, as we had seen a little of him before the time skip. He is the oldest son of Viserys Targaryen and Alicent Hightower.

A futility? The horror of seeing pieces of poor Arrax's body fall through the sky is something that even impacts Aemond. Jacaerys Velaryon was Rhaenyra's first-born child. In the finale, Jace is sent off to Winterfell and the northern regions to meet with the lords there and affirm alliances. Two centuries before the events of A Game of Thrones, House Targaryen—the only family of dragonlords to survive the Doom of Valyria—took up residence on Dragonstone. Updated: Feb. The show has foreshadowed Aemond's lust for revenge against Lucerys ever since he lost his eye all those years back. Played by: Evie Allen originally, Phia Saban as an adult. In this case, the smaller Arrax, feeling threatened and no doubt feeling Luke's fear, lashes out at the behemoth Vhagar by breathing fire into her face. Like the rest of Rhaenyra's children, Joffrey was a good-hearted lad who only wanted to support his mother in the war, despite his young age. Princess Rhaenyra and Prince Daemon 's only daughter was stillborn. Do we need another Aegon? During the later years of his reign, Aegon III appoints his brother Viserys as Hand of the King to help maintain stability in the realm until he died from consumption also known as tuberculosis. Now uncle-husband and niece-wife, the Targaryen pair will soon be busy producing cousin-heirs. The daughter was to be named Visenya, after one of Aegon the Conqueror's sister-wives.
In the spirit of its predecessor, the latest episode of Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon not only has an incestuous sex scene between uncle Daemon and niece Rhaenyra , but also a wedding to really hit the Targaryen Exceptionalism home.
In the books, Qarl kills Laenor and then himself. Her labor -- likely brought on by the grief of her father's death and the betrayal of the Hightowers when they placed Aegon on the throne in Season 1, Episode 9, "The Green Council" -- was painfully long and arduous. As seen in the show so far, Princess Rhaenyra marries twice in her lifetime: first to Ser Laenor Velaryon, and then to her own uncle, Daemon Targaryen. He rode to different lords and ladies of Westeros where he made political deals on the behalf of his mother, and befriended Cregan Stark in Winterfell. However, he only lasted a little more than a year as King, and many smallfolk believed the crown should've rightfully passed to Daena Targaryen -- instead of repeating the cycle of overlooking a woman once more. Named after his grandfather, Viserys II appears to be a toddler in the eighth episode. But now things are even more complicated. His mother, Georgia Tennant, also acted in the series. During the later years of his reign, Aegon III appoints his brother Viserys as Hand of the King to help maintain stability in the realm until he died from consumption also known as tuberculosis. After that, Aegon the Elder then holds Aegon the Younger captive for half a year before his men murder him.
I think, that you are mistaken. I can prove it.
