Published: Mar 8, DBD Chapter 31 is almost here, and, despite the terrifying trailers in the run up to the All Things Wicked chapter, the PTB has revealed, dare we say, the kinda cute Unknown killer and new gothic survivor. Somehow they do, and the year eight Dead by Daylight roadmap confirms a total of nine new characters. Following surprise survivor Nic Cage , the good guys from Chapter 30, and Alan Wake, creepy new original killer The Unknown is next to arrive.

Dead by Daylight is crossing over with Iron Maiden as part of a new Collection. One reason that fans have continuously returned to Dead by Daylight over the years is the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game's steady stream of crossover content. Typically, Dead by Daylight crossovers have seen it cross paths with existing horror franchises. The various Dead by Daylight crossovers have added all kinds of horror icons to the game's playable roster, with one of the more recent additions being the murderous doll Chucky of Child's Play fame. There will undoubtedly be even more horror movie killers added to Dead by Daylight in future updates, but the game's next crossover event will actually see it add content inspired by heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Dead by Daylight Survivors, meanwhile, will have the chance to collect Very Rare tour shirts, with Behaviour teasing that a couple of the shirts "even have a little surprise," so fans will want to keep an eye out. Anyone interested in the Dead by Daylight Iron Maiden Collection should note that it's live in the game right now.
