Worst of all, his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugou — someone he endearingly still calls Kacchan — turns into his tormentor. Midoriya and Bakugou have a very complicated relationship. One born quirkless and the other gifted with an especially powerful quirk — one aims to win to save while the other wants to save to win.

But none of them compares to how much he changes the life of Todoroki.

On his journey to become the number one hero, Izuku Midoriya, or Deku, has been through a number of trials and tribulations. Some of the situations he's found himself in are extreme for anyone, even a fictional teenager. But, using his wits, strength, and some luck, he manages to pull through in the end. Deku has gone out of his way many times, which shaped the story as well as his character. Deku is known for thinking his plans through and therefore making some good decisions.

My Hero Academia quickly made a name itself and has arguably become one of the most popular anime franchises of all time. The anime follows Izuku Midoriya and his 1-A classmates at U. High School as they train to become professional heroes to protect the world from villains who want to throw it into chaos. The anime features an assortment of different fights from duels between classmates after hours, school-sanctioned tournaments, training exercises, to full on fights against super villains. The fight begins by showing us just what the stakes are and revealing just how big of a threat Muscular is. After Deku saves Kota, Muscular launches into a vicious attack against Midoriya that not only breaks his arm, but sends him flying into the side of a mountain. Muscular continues to beat down Deku flinging him across the side of the mountain and repeatedly bashing him into it. Even when Deku tries to counter, Muscular shows his might is much more than Deku can handle. He easily blocks him and then sends him once again flying backwards.

Instead of jumping right into the next major conflict, Season 3 of My Hero Academia has taken its time to lay the groundwork for UA High's next showdown with the League of Villains. By weaving in brief shots of Dabi and his Vanguard Action Squad amongst the intense training the students are undergoing to strengthen their Quirks, "Kota" builds upon the sense of urgency that was so well presented in "Wild, Wild Pussycats. Some of their exercises are quite clever, like Bakugo submerging his hands in boiling water to expand his sweat glands, while others, like Kaminari electrocuting himself by running a current through a large capacity battery, are quite funny, thanks to the exaggerated animation that emphasizes its impact. All signs point to an increased role for the Class B students in the episodes to come, and seeing their homeroom teacher Sekijiro attempt build them up so they can rise above the shadow of Class A was heartwarming.
